Terms of service
Last updated: August 2026 · The short version: pay a fair price, get an honest tool, treat it normally, leave whenever you like.
1. What BullBenchmark is
BullBenchmark is a portfolio tracking service. You upload transaction exports from your broker; we compute and display your positions, returns, dividends and a comparison against market indexes. BullBenchmark is an information tool. It is not investment advice, not a broker, and not a recommendation to buy or sell anything. Figures can contain errors, market data comes from third-party sources with no guarantee of accuracy, and past performance says nothing about the future. Decisions you make remain entirely your own.
2. Your account
You need an account, created with your email address or Google sign-in. Keep access to your email secure; anyone who controls it controls your account. One account per person. You must be at least 18 years old.
3. Free trial and subscriptions
New accounts receive a 7-day free trial with full functionality, no payment details required. The trial is available once per person; deleting an account and re-registering does not restart it. After the trial your account becomes read-only until you subscribe.
The subscription costs €5.99 per month or €59.99 per year, including VAT where applicable, billed through Stripe. Monthly plans renew monthly and can be cancelled anytime, effective at the end of the paid period. Yearly plans renew yearly; we send a reminder before renewal. Statutory withdrawal rights for EU consumers apply: you may withdraw within 14 days of purchase and receive a refund for the unused period.
4. Referral program
When someone signs up through your referral link and becomes a paying subscriber, we add two months of access to your account. Referral credit has no cash value and is limited to genuine referrals; self-referrals, bulk account creation or other gaming of the program may lead to removal of credits or termination. We may change or end the program for future referrals at any time.
5. Fair use
Use the service for tracking portfolios you are entitled to see. Do not attempt to breach security, scrape other users' data, resell access, or overload the service. We may suspend accounts that do. If we terminate your account without cause, we refund the unused period.
6. Your data
Your uploads and everything derived from them remain yours. You can export all of it at any time and delete all of it with one action. How we handle personal data is described in the privacy policy, which is part of these terms.
7. Availability and liability
We aim for the service to be available and correct, and we make no absolute promise of either. Market data may be delayed, incomplete or wrong; calculations may contain errors; maintenance happens. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the event. Nothing in these terms limits liability for intent or gross negligence, or any liability that cannot legally be limited. We are, in particular, never liable for investment losses; the tool reports on your decisions, it does not make them.
8. Changes and termination
We may update these terms; material changes are announced by email or in the product at least 30 days in advance, and continuing to use the service after that counts as acceptance. If you disagree, cancel and we refund any unused yearly period. You can stop using the service and delete your account whenever you want.
9. Governing law
These terms are governed by Dutch law. Disputes go to the competent court in the Netherlands, without prejudice to mandatory consumer protections of your country of residence. If one clause proves invalid, the rest stays in force.
